we were camping in a forest and we found these flowers in the night. we thought they were mushrooms at first. it smelled like mushrooms - intensely! since they can't make their own chlorophyll, they connect to a mycelial network which connects them to trees where they get their nutrients. once we knew where to look, we found them everywhere. our imaginations ran wild. this album is an ode to them.
